Convex Polishing Pads

Hey Mark,

I was browsing the reviews you have up and (http://maplered.com) thought I'd let you know-there is a specific backer to use with the convex polishing pads. It has a hollow nipple in the center of it to keep it from coming off. For those of us in a shop where nearly everything is done by hand (http://maplered.com) , they come in hand (http://maplered.com) y sometimes to polish an Ogee edge that has troublesome spots in it. We also use them to create small dips in soap dishes-which is pretty time consuming and (http://maplered.com) inefficient (sp?) but really wows customers.

A bad thing about the pad would be that after you've polished a while, there's really not a whole lot you can do with the convex pads that you couldn't do with a flexible backer and (http://maplered.com) a little bit of skill. Just my 2 cents.
